Forever Sherpa

Terms of Service

Effective October 27, 2026 · Last updated October 27, 2026
The short version: Forever Sherpa is free and provided as-is. Use it the way you'd use any Discord bot, and follow Discord's rules. Game info comes from public sources and can be wrong or out of date. Check Blizzard's official posts for anything important.

These terms cover your use of Forever Sherpa ("the bot", "the service"), a free Discord bot run by the Forever Sherpa team ("we", "us"). By adding the bot to a server or using its commands, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the bot.

1. Discord's rules come first

You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when you use the bot. If you add the bot to a server, you're responsible for having permission to do that.

2. What the service is

The bot posts a countdown, tips, news headlines and links to public Twitch clips about World of Warcraft: Forever, and answers commands. It's free. We may add, change or remove features, or stop running the bot, at any time and without notice.

3. Accuracy

Game details, dates and tips come from public sources such as Blizzard announcements and gaming news sites. Games change, especially around launch, so information from the bot may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Don't rely on it for anything where a mistake would cost you. Blizzard's official channels are the final word.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the bot to harass anyone, to spam, or to break the law. Don't try to overload, disrupt or break it, don't get around its limits, and don't use it to collect other people's information. We may block any user or server that does.

5. Third-party content

News headlines link to the publishers' own websites, and clips link to Twitch. Their owners are responsible for that content, and their own terms apply. A link isn't an endorsement.

6. Trademarks

Forever Sherpa isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment, Discord or Twitch. World of Warcraft, Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks or registered trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Other names belong to their owners.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what the bot stores and how to delete it.

8. No warranty

The bot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that it will always be available, error-free or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, in-game items, names or opportunities, arising from your use of the bot, or your inability to use it. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to US $0. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

10. Ending things

You can stop using the bot at any time, and a server admin can remove it. Removing it deletes that server's stored data, as the Privacy Policy describes. We can suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the bot after a change, you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
